Six handicap Krystle Caithness (St Regulus), just 13 years old, won the
scratch prize in the East of Scotland Girls' Autumn Meeting at Dunfermline
Golf Club with an eight-over-par 80.
First Handicap winner in the Silver Division was thirteen year old Louise
Macgregor (Falkirk Carmuirs 20) with a net 66. Ten handicappers, Lesley
Rolland, playing at her home club and Vicki Stevenson (Stirling) tied
for the second handicap prize which Lesley won on the better inward half,
helped by an eagle three at the seventeenth.
In the Bronze Section, the first handicap prize was won by Arlene McGarty
(23) from Bathgate with a net 75. Runner-up was Alice Duvivier (Gullane
21) with a net 77.
Arlene McGarty also won the Gifford Trophy for the best two out of three
net scores from the Spring, summer and Autumn Meetings.
This was a reduction only competition. The CSS matched the SSS at 72.
