SCOTLAND finished fourth in the European junior women's team championship,
won by Spain at Moscow Country Club today.
Spain beat Germany, the leading qualifiers and conquerors of Scotland
in the semi-finals, by the convincing margin of 5 1/2-1 1/2 in the final
after taking the foursomes 2-0.
Sweden won the bronze medals by beating Scotland 4-3 in the third-place
play-off.
