Format
Two 18 hole qualifying rounds played on Monday & Tuesday 12/13 August.
The players returning the lowest 32 scores qualify for matchplay

Five players were involved in a play off for the last match play place
at the English Ladies' Close Amateur Championship, after finishing on
164. Emma McBride (Upton by Chester) won at the second playoff hole
with a 4, eliminating Julie Ross (Whitley Bay), Elizabeth Bennett
(Brokenhurst Manor), Sara Garbutt (Ganton) & Sian Reddick (Sene
Valley).
