Deeside win Lyon Trophy Inter-Club Foursomes
DEESIDE won the Aberdeenshire Ladies County Golf Association Lyon Trophy
inter-club foursomes at Newmachar on Tuesday for the first time since
1997.
They beat Cruden Bay by seven holes in the final. It was the third year
in a row that Cruden Bay had been runners-up.
Deeside's winning quartet were Fiona Hay, Lynne McPherson, Mariva Millership
and Vivian Harper.
The Cruden Bay team were Christine Middleton, Susan Imlah, Lynne Terry
and Caroline Henderson.
