Darren Renwick's top 20 finish in

Bridgestone Collegiate

England's Darren Renwick (Worthing), winner of the Scottish Under-16 boys' open stroke-play championship in 2005 at Longniddry and now a second-year student at the University of Tennessee, finished joint 15th in a field of 84 at the UNCG Bridgestone Collegiate tournament at Forest Oaks Country Club, Greensboro in North Carolina.
Darren, pictured, had tidy scores of 72, 72 and 70 for a totalof two-under-par 214 over a par-72 course of well over 7,000yds: 7,217 to be precise.
Winner was Virginia's Amory Davis with an 11-under-par total of 205, made up of scores of 70, 68 and 67.
Tennessee (861) finished fifth of 15 in the team event won by George Tech (843) from Virginia (850) and Michigan (853).
