Katy McNicoll down the field in Florida
Carnoustie's Katy McNicoll, who is having an extended stay in Florida, finished joint 44th in this week's SunCoast Tour's Ladies Series at Ridgewood Lakes Golf Club.
Over a par-72 course of 6,315yd, Katy, the North of Scotland women's amateur champion, scored 78 and 76 for 157, finishing 19 shots behind the winner of the $2,000 first prize, American Cindy LaCrosse (69-69).

+Katy's older brother Keir McNicoll is also spending some time in Florida with Gavin Dear - all three attend Lynn University at Boca Raton - playing mini-tour events. Keir will be returning shortly to play in one of the European Tour Qualifying School's Stage 2 eliminators in Spain. Gavin failed to get past Stage 1.
