Steven Maxwell joint sixth in Colorado one-rounder
Steven Maxwell from Glasgow, a junior (third year) student at Western New Mexico University, tied for sixth place in a field of 50 for the RAMC Fall Championship at Cougar Canyon Golf Links, Trinidad in Colorado.
It was a one-round event and Steven scored a 75 over the 7193yd, par-72 course.
Team-mate Scott Crighton from Delgaty Bay, Fife, a senior (fourth year) student, finished joint 29th with a 79.
Joint winners on the 70 mark were Chris Shoop (Colorado Springs) and Jim Knous (Colorado School of Mines).
Western New Mexico (305) finished third of 10 teams behind Colorado Springs (296) and Colorado School of Mines (303).
