Helen Alfredsson scores career-low 62

to lead by two in Sybase Classic

Helen Alfredsson returned a career-best, 10-under-par 62, highlighted by holing out from 7oyd for an eagle at the second hole, to lead the LPGA Tour's Sybase Classic by two shots from Brittany Lincicome.
The Swedish player had nine birdies to set aside the eagle and she had one bogey at the Upper Montclair Country Club on a damp day at Clifton, New Jersey.
Lorena Ochoa had an uninspired 71 - one more than Michelle Wie - over the par-73, 6413yd course to be joint 25th with three rounds to play. Janice Moodie also had a 71.
