Defending champion Cara Gruber (Royal Dornoch) will play top seed Eileen Manson (Thurso) in the first semi-final of the Northern Counties women's golf championship at Nairn Golf Club tomorrow morning (9am).
The other tie (9.10) features former title-holder Jenny Milne (Elgin) and Alison Bartlett (Royal Dornoch) who has had several good wins on her way to the last four.
Cara Gruber, pictured left by Cal Carson Golf Agency, was three down after 11 holes in the first round of the match-play before winning the last four holes for a last-green win over Susan McVicar (Gairloch).
Second seed Pam Mackay (Royal Dornoch) was beaten in the first round by Marian Howieson (Inverness) who lost at the 19th in the quarter-finals to Alison Bartlett.
