Jodi Ewart lying second with one

round to go in California

Curtis Cup player Jodi Ewart (New Mexico University) from Yorkshire is two shots off the pace in second place with one round to go in the Mountain West Women's Conference Championship at Bayonet-Black Horse Golf Club, Seaside in California.
Catterick Golf Club member Jodi, the defending champion, has had rounds of 74 and 73 for a three-over-par tally of 147 over the par-72, 6027yd course.
She had birdies at the third, seventh and 12th but bogeys at the first, 10th, 15th and 17th in her second round.
In her opening round, Jodi , pictured by Cal Carson Golf Agency, had a double bogey 6 at the ninth to set against birdies at the seventh and 13th and bogeys at the eighth and 17th.
Jonelle Martinez (Wyoming University) leads with 70 and 75 for 145.
Brooke Beeler (Texas Christian), Rebecca Helblom (New Mexico) and Therese Koelbaek (UNLV) are sharing third place on 148.
