East Vets CSS 71 for everyone

The results of the East Vets Spring Meeting held on Gullane No3 on Monday were announced with the CSS as 72 for Home players and 71 for Away players.
It's been pointed out that under Clause 2.3 of Appendix B, Competition Scratch Score Procedure in the CONGU Handbook (Page 53) that if the Competition Scratch Score for 'Home' players is higher than that calculated for 'Away' players the CSS calculation should default to a single CSS calculation calculated for the whole field.
The CSS for the whole field went up +2 to 71 on the day.
As it was me who did the calculations in the first place I must give my abject apologies to those Gullane members who thought they were in their buffer and and are now not!
