Shufflebotham and Sherreard joint 35th
in SunTrust Gator Invitational
Welshman Jason Shufflebotham, a student at the University of Alabama-Birmingham and Tom Sherreard from Maidstone, Kent - a student at Georgia State University - tied for 35th place in a field of 75 for the SunTrust Gator Invitational college tournament at the University of Florida's Gainsville course.
Shufflebotham scored 73, 72 and 71 for six over par total of 216 over the 6,701yd par 70 course, while Sherreard had rounds of 72, 69 and 75.
Three players tied at the head of the field on five-under-par 205 - Billy Horschel (Florida) with 65, 70 and 70, Simon Ward (Central Florida) (68-70-67) and Toby Ragland (Florida) with 68, 65 and 72.
Florida (824) won the team title quite easily from Mississippi (842) with Central Florida (846) third of 14.
