HOOTERS WOMEN'S COLLEGE MATCH-PLAY CHAMPIONSHIP AT REUNION, FLORIDA
Practice makes perfect: Sally Watson was out watching her older sister Rebecca play for Tennessee. The Scottish star had knee surgery immediately after the Curtis Cup this past summer and played her first competitive round Sunday at the David Leadbetter Academy.
“I was so nervous to begin with,” said Watson, who shot even par. “It was a little silly really since it was a little competition.”
Sally, a 2009 graduate, said she committed to Stanford University in large part because she felt its new practice facility would give her an edge.“There’s not a shot you can’t practise there,” she saad. “It’s definitely something special.”
