Katherine Hull - 'I'm playing for God' -
leads ADT Championship by one

FROM THE AOL GOLF NEWS SERVICE
Australian Katherine Hull shot a 68 to open up a one-stroke lead after the first round of the ADT Championship.
Hull`s four-under-par effort at the Trump International Golf Club saw her edge ahead of Koreans In-Kyung Kim and Ji-Yai Shin at the LPGA Tour's season-ending event at the Trump International Golf Club, West Palm Beach, Florida.
Hull said: "Overall I'm pretty happy. I didn't have really any expectations going out there, I just tried to execute the game plan and have fun. My caddie and I did that so it was a good day."
Hull started strongly with a pair of birdies on the front nine before picking up four more shots against two bogeys over the final nine holes.
The Australian is seeking her second win of the season following a victory at the CN Canadian Women's Open in August. She also has eight top-10 finishes this season.
She added: "Obviously Canada was a turning point for me in my faith life, in my spiritual life. I've got that back on track now. That's kind of given me a different perspective on golf. I'm not just kind of out here playing for nothing. I'm playing for God."
Kim, meanwhile sandwiched five birdies with bogeys at the first and last holes while Shin sank three birdies before the turn before carding two birdies and bogeys on the back nine.
Shin said: "Today my drive was good so, I never missed the fairway. Then the back nine I made bogeys. But today's pin location was too hard. It was very tough. I think the 15th, if somebody made a birdie, I think there's the big news. It's really tough."
Koreans Na Yeon Choi, Eun-Hee Ji and Ji Young Oh sit in a three-way tie for fourth at two-under. The ADT Championship also represents Annika Sorenstam`s last tournament and the Swede is tied for 23rd at two-over with Korean Hee-Won Han.
After 72 LPGA wins and 10 major championships, Sorenstam has decided to end her glittering career to pursue other interests.
