Latimer finishes joint fifth in Georgia
Peter Latimer from Markinch, Fife, a third-year student at Guilford College, North Carolina, finished joint fifth in the Oglethorpe Fall Invitational college tournament at Royal Lakes Country Club, Oakwood in Georgia.
Latimer had a pair of 72s over the 6600yd, par-72 course to finish four shots behind the winner, Matt Rebitch (Oglethorpe) who had scores of 72 and 68 for four-under-par 140.
Oglethorpe pipped Guilford by a single shot to win the team title from a field of 12 squads.
