Katy McNicoll finishes jt 7th
in Saint Leo Invitational
Carnoustie's Katy McNicoll, a student at Lynn University, Boca Raton in Florida, finished joint seventh in a field of 61 players for the Saint Leo Invitational women's college tournament at Tampa Palms Country Club, Tampa in Florida this week.
Katy, pictured right by Cal Carson Golf Agency, had rounds of 80 and 73 for a total of 153 over the par-72, 5,881yd course. She finished 11 shots behind the winner, Heather Burgner (Florida State University) who scored 74 and 68 for a four-shot victory from team-mate Marianne Anderson (75-71).
Lynn University finished runners-up to Florida Southern in a field of 12 for the team event.
