Gemma Webster puts her name down
for US Futures Tour Q School

Former Scotland international Gemma Webster from Glasgow, currently a student at Ohio State University, and Alison Walshe, the Irish-born girl who played in the winning United States Curtis Cup team at St Andrews this year, are among a capacity entry list of 258 for the United States Futures Tour Qualifying School, to be held over three courses at Lakeland, Florida from November 4 to 7.
Other entries include Natasha Morgan from Monmouthshire, who played in the inaugural Hacienda del Alamo Women's Winter Festival in February, Dublin amateur Louise Harris and Belfast's Brenda McLarnon who has played on the Futures Tour since her US college days.
The Q School is over four rounds. There will be a cut after everyone has played each of the qualifying courses.
The courses to be used are Cleveland Heights and Huntington Hill at Lakeland and Imperial Lakes at neighbouring Mulberry, Florida.
So many entries have been received that a waiting list has been opened.
