Rain hits second day's play on
Futures Tour event at Albany
Pamela Feggans had completed a 73 for 148 and Vikki Laing was one under par for 11 holes of her second round when heavy rain forced on an already wet course forced the organisers to suspend play for the rest of Saturday in the US Futures Tour event, the Iloveny Championship, at Albany, New York State.
It was a game of two halves for Pamela - two under par for the front nine with birdies at the second and six, but four over par for the inward half witha duble bogey at the 17th and other shots dropped at the 10th and 12.
Still with a 36-hole tally of 148, the Ayrshire player is certain to survive the cut.
So too is Vikki who started at the 10th with a birdie and then birdied the 13th as well before droppping a shot at the 17th.
Brenda McLarnon from Belfast is not going to make it, however, She had a 77 for 156.
