Japanese, South Koreans monopolise
Women's British Open leaderboard
It's hardly a leading group likely to pull the home crowds into Sunningdale Golf Club, Berkshire on Sunday for the final round of the Ricoh Women's British Open championship.
The Japanese sponsors will be delighted that Yuri Fudoh leads on 203 by one shot from South Korean Ji-Yai Shin, with another Japanese player, Ai Miyazato, in third place.
Americans Cristie Kerr and Juli Inkster are the leading non-Orientals on 206, sharing fourth place but three shots off the pace.
The top 20 is awash with South Koreans as they continue their take-over of the world's female pro tours and leading events ... the LPGA Tour, the Futures Tour and now the top female pro event in Europe.
Players with unrecognisable faces, almost unpronounceable names who speak little or no English.
And what's happened to little "Miss Magic from Mexico?" The defending champion, Lorena Ochoa is sharing 10th place on 208.
