Midlothian Website

Those of you suffering withdrawal symptoms because the Midlothian website was off the air for a couple of weeks, will be please to know that www.mclga.com is back.

The two five-a-side leagues are almost completed.

In Division 1, Craigmillar Park can't be beaten with 12 match points. Mortonhall on 10 match points and 24.5 game points just take second place from Merchants, who have the same number of match points but 21 game points.
Lothianburn with 5 match points will drop to Division 2 next season. There is one game left to play between Harburn (currently 6 match points) and Kingsknowe (currently 5 match points). Murrayfield, who have played all their matches are also on 6 points. Kingsknowe need to win or halve to stay up... a half will tie them with Murrayfield but Kingsknowe will have 17.5 game points to Murrayfield's 17, so Murrayfield will go down. If Harburn win, they stay up and Kingsknowe go down.

In Division 2, Turnhouse still have to play Liberton and Newbattle. Broomieknowe won all their matches except one, which they halved, and top the table with 13 match points. Prestonfield and Glencorse are tied for second place on 10 match points. Prestonfield will gain promotion due to their tally of 25 game points against 22.
