INVITATIONAL IN NEVADA
Former Cheshire girls champion Natasha Podmore, a sophomore student at San Francisco University, was lying joint 45th in a field of 96 at the end of the first round of the UNLV Spring Rebel Invitational at Boulder Creek Golf Club, Boulder City in Nevada.
Natasha had a round of 76 to be eight shots behind the leader, Kelly Nakashima (Idaho).
UNLV (284) lead the team event from Washington State (285) with San Francisco (291) third of 18.
