England’s Florentyna Parker to
defend French junior title

England international Florentyna Parker will defend her title at the French Lady Junior Championship at St Cloud from March 20-24. The 18-year-old, who has just been picked for the GB&I Curtis Cup team, is part of a squad of seven players selected for this event by the English Women’s Golf Association.
The players are:
Hannah Barwood (Knowle), Rachel Connor (Manchester), Charlie Douglass (Brocket Hall), Sian James (Bristol & Clifton), Rachel Jennings (Izaak Walton), Florentyna Parker (Royal Birkdale) and Kelly Tidy (Manchester).
England has two teams in the Vilmorin Cup, which is played over the two stroke-play qualifying rounds at the championship.
The teams are:
A - Rachel Jennings, Florentyna Parker and Kelly Tidy.
B - Hannah Barwood, Rachel Connor and Sian James.
