JACQUELINE SNEDDON FINDS GOLF CAN
BE TOUGH ON WAIKOLOA, HAWAII

Jacqueline Sneddon is certainly visiting picture-postcard places since she enrolled at Grand Canyon University at Phoenix, Arizona in August.
Her latest trip took her to Waikoloa, one of the islands that makes up Hawaii in the Pacific Ocean.
Jacqueline, who hails from a village near Meigle and is a member at Alyth Golf Club, scored 86, 89 and 89 for a total of 264 - sounds like windy conditions blowing in off the sea - to finish joint 38th in a field of 63 players.
The college tournament was the Dennis Rose Invitational at Waikoloa Kings Golf Club.
Malin Thorberg (California Baptist University) was the only one who could handle the testing conditions. She scored 70, 78 and 76 for a total fo 224 and won by 12 shots from the runner-up.
Grand Canyon (1026) finished seventh of 12 in the team event behind the winners, California Baptist with 980.
