HARRIET FINISHES 23rd IN NORTH CAROLINA - NOW LOOKING
FORWARD TO HAWAII!
Yale University freshman student Harriet Owers-Bradley from Nottingham - her mother Lindsey is Scottish! - finished 23rd in a field of 82 players for the Ross Invitational college tournament at Mid Pines Golf Club, Southern Pines in North Carolina.
Harriet, pictured right, who has achieved two top-10 finishes since she arrived at Yale, scored 81, 80 and 77 in rough weather for a total of 238.
The winner, Joanna Coe (Rollins College) finished at eight-over-par 224 with scores of 75, 76 and 73.
Yale (961) finished sixth of 15 in the team event won by Rollins College (916).
That's the end of Yale's college golf schedule for 2007. But Harriet and the rest of women's squad are already looking forward to their next tournament - at Honolulu, Hawaii, teeing off on March 18.
