DAWN-MARIE AND CLARA DOWN THE FIELD
IN WILDCAT FALL INVITATIONAL
Dubliner Dawn-Marie Conaty (Memphis) and Clara Leathers (Middle Tennessee State) finished joint 63rd and 67th respectively in a field of 75 players for the Wildcat Fall Invitational over the University of Kentucky's par-72 (6,141yd) course at Lexington.
Dawn-Marie scored 85, 83 and 79 for 31-over-par 247 while Clare scored 83, 90 and 79 for 36-over 252.
The good golf, as you would expect, came at the top of the leaderboard with Alabama University players dominating the leading positions and the team event.
Courtney Harter (Alabama) won the individual title with 67, 71 and 75 for three-under-par 213.
Team-mate Camilla Lennarth had 71, 68 and 75 for 214.
And a third Alabama player, Kathleen Ekey, tied for third place on 216 with Stacy Lewis (Arkansas).
Alabama (877) won the team event from Florida (885) and Arkansas (898.
Middle Tennessee State (923) came sixth and Memphis (952) 11th of the 14 college teams.
