ANN MARIE DALTON RUNNER-UP
IN STARMOUNT FALL CLASSIC

Ann Marie Dalton, from Carlow, Ireland, finished runner-up in the Starmount Fall Classic women's college tournament over a par-71, 6265yd course at Starmount Forest Golf Club, Greensboro in North Carolina this week.
Ann Marie, pictured right, a senior (fourth) year student at High Point University, North Carlona, scored 73 and 69 for a total of 142 - one behind the winner, Emelie Lind (East Carolina) who scored 70 and 71, in a field of 68 players.
East Carolina (583) won the team event from North Carolina-Greensboro (591) with Elon and Florida International sharing third place on 600. High Point finished last of the ll teams with a total of 638..


IMPROVING HANNAH FINISHES JOINT 15th
AT LAS CRUCES IN NEW MEXICO

Baylor's two English students, Hannah Burke and Sian Reddick, finished joint 15th and 62nd respectively in a field of 89 players for the Price's Give 'Em Five Intercollegiate women's tournament at Las Cruces, New Mexico this week.
Hannah had improving scores of 77, 76 and 73 for 225. Sian scored 77, 83 and 80 for a total of 240.
Chelsea Stelzmiller (UC-Davis) won with scores of 74, 74 and 71 for three-over-par 219 - one shot ahead of team-mate Bryana Gregory (70-75-75).
Oklahoma (902) won the team event from Idaho (906) with UC-Davis third of 16 teams. Baylor (920) came joint ninth.
