England's winning team at the back; Scotland's five at the front.

UNIVERSITY TITLE BUT
WOMEN BEATEN BY
ENGLAND

Scotland won the British Universities Sports Association men’s home golf internationals title at Fairmont St Andrews but lost the three-day women’s match against England.

Greg McBain, Scott Borrowman and Gordon Yates were Scotland’s top performers with five points each out of a possible six over the three days.
As Wales and Northern Ireland were not able to field women’s team, Scotland played England in a three-day match of foursomes and singles. England won by 15 1/2-1 1/2 overall.
