GETS TOP TEN FINISH ON
DEBUT FOR YALE UNIVERSITY
Harriet Owers-Bradley, pictured right, from Nottingham, a freshman student at Yale University, New Haven in Connecticutt, achieved a top-10 finish on her debut for the college golf team at the Princeton Women’s Invitational tournament at Princeton, New Jersey.
Over a par-72, 6,108yd course, Harriet had rounds of 76 and 80 for a total of 156 and joint ninth place in a field of 84 players. She was the joint lowest scorer in the Yale team who finished fifth behind hosts Princeton.
Susannah Aboff (Princeton), playing over her home course, was the individual winner with rounds of 71 and 79 for 150.
