HANNAH BURKE JOINT SECOND WITH ONE
ROUND TO GO IN COLORADO

The second round has now been completed in the Ray Moore Invitational women's college tournament at Highlands Ranch Club, Colorado and Baylor's Hannah Burke was joint second on 143 going into the final 18 holes, being played later today.
Hannah had rounds of 72 and 71. Her second round, although one under par for the 6,518yd course, included a double bogey 6 at the sixth.
The Welwyn Garden City student was tied for second place with Erica Moston (San Jose State), two shots behind leader Stephanie Sherlock (Denver), playing over her home university course. Stephanie has score 69 and 72 for three-under-par 141.
Sian Riddick, the 2004 English women's open amateur stroke-play champion from Folkestone, was in joint 13th place on 150 after rounds of 72 and 78. Sian was six overe par for her last 12 holes of the second round. She ran up a double bogey 6 at the 16th.
English Under-18 girls champion Ellie Givens, a freshman student at Denver University, was joint 35th on 154 after a pair 0f 77s.
Once Ellie gets the hang of American conditions and keeps the double bogeys off her card - she has had five of them so far, two in her third round, at the eighth and 15th, then the Darlington teenager is going to be an asset to the Denver roster.
After 36 holes, Denver led the team event with 598, one shot ahead of Tulsa, with San Jose State (600) in third place, Nebraska (601) in fourth and Baylor (604) fifth of 18 teams.
