VIKKI LEADS BY ONE AT GETTYSBURG
Vikki Laing from Musselburgh needed one more good round to pull off her first victory as a professional golfer.
The former Curtis Cup player and record-setting Scottish girls champion led by shot with 18 holes to play in the storm-hit US Futures Tour event, the Gettysburg Championship, at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
Vikki shot rounds of 70 and 68 for a six-under-par tally of 138 and led by one shot from Emily Bastel from Ohio.
Emily had scores of 72 and 67.
