THIRD STRATHTYRUM TROPHY TRIUMPH
FOR MARILYN FROM WEST RHINE

Germany-based Marilyn Henderson (West Rhine Golf Club) has won the Strathtyrum Trophy women's open tournament at St Andrews for a third time.
The No 2 qualifier this week, Marilyn beat the No 1 seed, Ann Ramsay (Kirriemuit) by 2 and 1 in the final.
Marilyn was also champion in 1996 and 2005.
In this morning's semi-fnals, Marilyn beat the defending champion, Karen Marshall (Baberton) by 1 hole.
The Strathtyrum Salver handicap competition was won by Georgina Keane from Ballybunion in Ireland. She beat Kathryn Bullock (Goodwood) 7 and 6 in the final.

Final - Henderson bt Ramsay 2 and 1.
