MHAIRI WON $105,307 FOR JOINT SECOND

Mhairi McKay's financial reward for finshing joint second in the LPGA Tour's Safeway Classic on Sunday was $105,307.
That is one of the biggest prizes of her LPGA career which started in 1998 and represents more than she earned in each of the 1998, 1999, 2000, 2004, 2005 and 2006 seasons.
Her peak years were in 2001, when she earned $439,024, and 2002 when he won $489,384.
Her total winnings this season amount to $253,043 so, with quite a few tournaments to come in 2008, Mhairi already has her third best ever season nailed down.

In total the Scot has won $1,957,723 since her rookie year in 1998.
