Kelsey MacDonald (Nairn Dunbar) has moved into second place in the girls' section but Andrew McLachlan from Bonnyton, in joint fourth position on the boys' leaderboard, possibly has a better chance of producing a victory for Scotland on the final day of the Belgian Junior International Championship at the Royal Golf Club of Belgium, Brussels.
That's because Kelsey, who had a par-matching third round for a tally of 222, is seven shots behind girls' leader Alessia Knight from Italy.
But McLachlan, picture right by courtesy of Tom Ward Images), who also had a 72 for 220, is only one shot behind triple joint leaders Lionel Weber (France), Manuel Trappel (Austria) and Daniel Lokke (Denmark).
Aberdonian David Law (Hazlehead) is sharing eighth place on 222 in a field of 90 after a 72 which included a double bogey at the fourth.
Megan Briggs (Kilmacolm), the other Scot in the girls' field of 60, had a 75 for 230 and a share of 15th place.
