VAGLIANO TROPHY PLAYER WINS BIARRITZ CUP
Emma Cabrera (Spain) and Valentine Derrey (France), two members of the Continent of Europe team for this weekend's Vagliano Trophy match against Great Britain & Ireland at Fairmont St Andrews, finished first and fifth in the Women's Biarritz Cup over 72 holes at Biarritz Golf Club in southwest France on Sunday.
Emma, who had made several appearances on the Ladies European Tour as an amateur, had rounds of 69, 69, 67 and 73 for a two-over-par total of 278. She won by two strokes from French player Caroline Afonso.
Valentine Derrey scored 70, 69, 73 and 76 for 288.
