COWAL CHARITY MIXED GREENSOMES RESULTS

Cowal Golf Club held their second annual Charity Mixed Greensomes sponsored by County Garage on Sunday in aid of McMillan Cancer Support in Dunoon.
The day was well attended with golfers travelling from as far away as Tiree and Fortrose to play in what is becoming a very popular event on the Mixed calender.
The course was in excellent condition and the weather was kind till mid-afternoon when there was a deluge but that did not stop the enjoyment of the participants.
The sponsor, Henry Munro of County Garage, paid tribute to all contestants and gave thanks to all involved in the organisation and in particular the Club Secretary, Margaret Grant.
The winners on the day with an excellent return of 71.4 were the local pairing of ladies club champion Judy Galbraith and Ronnie Oliphant.
