VIKKI LAING JOINT 15TH IN CINCINNATI
Musselburgh's Vikki Laing finished joint 15th in the US Futures Tour's Duramed Championship at Stonelick Hills Golf Club near Cincinnati. She had rounds of 77, 63 and 72 for a four-under-par total of 212. Her second round of nine-under-par 63 was a career low.
Vikki earned $1,032 for finishing 11 shots behind South Korean winner Seo-Jae Lee who shot 66, 66 and 69 for 15-under-par 201 to take the $14,000 first prize.
Eunjung Yi from California and Violeta Remoza (Mexico) finished joint runners-up on 204 over the 6,349yd, par-72 course. Yi had rounds of 65, 70 and 679; Remoza 66, 66 and 72. They each won $8,562.
