JAMIE LOVEMARK AND STANFORD WIN THE
TITLES AT NCAA DIV 1 CHAMPIONSHIP

Jamie Lovemark (Southern California) won the individual title at the NCAA Division 1 men's championship which ended at the Golden Horseshoe Golf Club, Williamsburg in Virginia today.
Lovemark was not in contention with opening rounds of 72 and 71 over the shortish course of 6,803yd (par 70) but he took off over the last two with a pair of 64s for a final total of nine-under-par 271.
Jamie, competing as an individual, won by two shots from Kyle Stanley (Clemson) with Rob Grube (Stanford) third on 274.
Stanford University - alma mater to Tiger Woods and Mhairi McKay - won the team championship by 12 shots from Georgia with Lamar and Charlotte tied for third on 1125.
