SCOTLAND v ENGLAND SCHOOLS ON
SEPTEMBER 10 BUT VENUE DOUBT
The Scotland v England schools golf international will be played on Monday, September 10 but there is now some doubt about Fairmont St Andrews (formerly St Andrews Bay) being the venue.
The organisers are now looking for a venue where the neighbouring hotel rates would be more in line with the financial budgets of both the Scotland and England schools golf organisations. The international is not sponsored.
Next year’s Scottish schools championships will be played a week later than this year – on Monday, June 16 at Dullatur Golf Club, Cumbernauld.
This year's Scottish schools tournament is at Gullane on Monday, June 11.
