LOUISE SCORES FIRST WIN ON 18TH BIRTHDAY AT ALLOA

Louise MacGregor (Falkirk), the top qualifier for the match-play stages of the Stirling & Clackmannan women’s county golf championship at Alloa Golf Club, celebrated her 18th birthday by beating Rose Graham (Stirling) by 6 and 4 in the first round today.
Former Curtis Cup player and past Scottish champion Alison Davidson (Stirling), the No 2 seed, also cleared her first hurdle by beating Elizabeth Graham (Glenbervie) 4 and 3.
