TITLE-HOLDER ELAINE, TOP SEED
LOUISE FAIL TO REACH FIFE
COUNTY SEMI-FINALS

Defending champion Elaine Moffat and top seed Louise Kenney failed to make it through to Sunday morning's semi-finals of the Fife women's county championship at Dunfermline Golf Club.
Elaiine pitched in for an eagle 2 to win at the 19th over Susan Jackson (Ladybank) but then lost by 2 and 1 to the seventh qualifier Lesley Rolland (Dunfermline) in the quarter-finals.
Louise Kenney won her opening tie by 4 and 3 over Ann Moffat (St Regulus) before losing by 3 and 2 to Scottish senior cap Lorna Bennett (pictured right) by 3 and 2.
The semi-finals line-up is:
9.30am - Lorna Bennett (Ladybank) v Karin Sharp (Kirkcaldy).
9.37am - Fiona Lockhart (St Regulus) v Lesley Rolland (Dunfermline).
