BECKY JT 15th IN BIG FIELD FOR "NORTH/SOUTH"

Becky Dowell (Bethune-Cookman College) from Thornecombe finished joint 15th in a field of 100 for the North/South Women's Collegiate tournament at Jacksonville Beach Golf Club, Jacksonville in Florida.
Becky had rounds of 81 and 74 for a total of 155 over the par-72, 5,835yd course.
Shasta Averyhardt (Jackson State) won the individual title by three strokes with scores of 73 and 72 for 145.
Jacksonville (622) won the 18-team event by four strokes from joint runners-up Bethune-Cookman College and Northern Iowa.

NATASHA JOINT 10th IN "PEGGY KIRK BELL"

Natasha Morgan (Lynn University) from South Wales came joint 10th in a field of 75 players at the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational college tournament at Tuscawilla Country Club, West Springs in Florida.
Natasha scored 78, 76 and 76 for a total of 230 over the 6,089yd, par-72 course.
Individual winner by six strokes was Maria Garcia Austt (Nova Southeastern) with scores of 68, 74 and 73.
Rollins College (910) won the team event from Methodist University (923) with Lynn University third on 924. Florida Southern University came fourth of 13 on 927.
