NICK FALDO SERIES FINAL DAY ONE

NOT A GOOD DAY FOR SCOTS AT
NICK FALDO SERIES FINAL

Two rounds were played and only the leading players from each age category will return to the Roman Road course on Friday to play the final 18 holes.
The organisers have not specified who are the qualifiers for the last round.
Graham Turner (West Linton) scored 77 and 75 for 152, which was 10 shots behind Ben Evans (Rye), leader in the Boys’ Under-21 years category.
Graeme Mitchell (Aberdeen Northern) shot 74 and 88 for 162 – 15 strokes behind the joint leaders in the Boys’ Under-18 section.
Michael Daily (Erskine) had 71 and then 82 for 153 – seven strokes behind the Boys’ under-17 leader Jack Hiluta (Chelmsford).
