GEMMA'S WEAK FINISH KNOCKS HER OUT
OF TOP 20 IN "LADY NORTHERN"

Scotland international player Gemma Webster from Glasgow, a second-year student at Ohio State University, was tied for 23rd place in a field of 77 going into the final round of the Lady Northern college golf tournament at Forest Akers West course, East Lansing in Michigan.
Gemma, pictured right, had rounds of 78 and 75 for a 36-hole tally of 153 over the 6,316yd, par-72 course.
A weak finish to her second round of bogeys at the 12th and 13th and a double bogey at the 16th knocked her out of the top 20 after she had birdied the first, ninth and 10th.
Irish international Tara Delaney (Kent State University) from Carlow had a three-stroke lead with rounds of 72 and 70 for two-under-par 142. Her sister Karen, also a student at Kent State, had 77 and 79 for 156.
Michigan State (597) led the team event from Northwestern (599) and Ohio State and Michigan (both on 601) and Kent State (608) in the field of 12 colleges.
