UNDER-16 BOYS INTERNATIONAL

SCOTS GO DOWN TO NORTH OF ENGLAND
UNDER-16s AT THE GLEN

Scotland lost 9-6 to the North of England in Sunday’s Gordon McInnes Under-16 boys’ representative match at The Glen Golf Club, North Berwick.
The English boys took a 3-2 lead in the foursomes and then took the singles 6-4.
An unusual feature was the high number of halved singles – four in all. Which suggests that the English lads were perhaps a little flattered by their three-point margin of victory.
