MEN'S HOME INTERNATIONALS

SCOTLAND LEAD ENGLAND 3 1/2-1 1/2
IN TITLE DECIDER AT PYLE & KENFIG

Scotland took a 3 ˝-1 ˝ lead over England in the morning foursomes in the title-deciding clash on the third day of the men’s home amateur international matches at Pyle & Kenfig Golf Club, South Wales.
But let’s not think that means Scotland are home and dry as winners of the Raymond Trophy for the second year in a row.
England have lost the foursomes to Wales and Ireland on the first two days and come through to win the matches by making up the leeway in the singles.
Scotland’s winning pairings were Richie Ramsay and Scott Jamieson (by 2 and 1 over Moul and McGowan); John Gallagher and Keir McNicoll (by 3 and 1 over Lewton and Parker) and Kevin McAlpine and Scott Henry ( by 4 and 3 over Richardson and Boyd).
Ireland lead Wales 3-2 after their foursomes.
