IRISH PLAYER HIGHLY RATED IN US

TARA RANKED NO 4 ON UNITED STATES
WOMEN’S COLLEGE CIRCUIT

Irish Curtis Cup player Tara Delaney’s victory in the Lady Northern Invitational at East Lansing, Michigan has earned the 20-year-old Kent State University, Ohio student from Carlow fourth place in the latest Golfweek/Sagarin women’s college ratings.
It was Tara’s third win in the United States.
The only players ranked ahead of her are Alison Walshe (Arizona), Sweden’s Sara Wikstrom (Arkansas Little Rock) and US Curtis Cup player Taylor Leon (Georgia).
Other Europeans in the top 20 are former British girls open champion Anna Nordqvist (Arizona State) from Sweden in seventh place, Germany’s Sandra Gal (Florida) in 11th place and Belgium’s Benedicte Toumpsin (South Carolina) in 19th place.
