LADIES EUROPEAN TOUR

CLARE MAKES IT BUT JULIE, LIZ AND LYNN
MISS THE CUT IN HUNGARY

Rookie Clare Queen survived the 36-hole cut by two shots with a second-round 70 for 141 in the OTP Bank Ladies Central European Open championship in Hungary today.
Players with totals of 143 and better survived but Julie Forbes, Liz McKinnon (despite a brave effort) and Lynn Kenny did not.
Julie Forbes had 73 and 72 for 145, the same total as Inverness-based New Zealander Liz who found her "old" form with a 68, nine shots better than on Thursday.
Lynn had two 73s for 146, good enough scoring normally but not over a shortish course as this one, over which the scoring average has been very low.
Germany's Anja Monke leads with 12-under-par 130 with scores of 64 and 66. She leads by one shot from England's Rebecca Hudson (66-65).
