FIFE MEN'S ORDER OF MERIT

GEORGE MURRAY TAKES OVER LEAD

  

George Murray’s joint fifth place finish in the Swallow Hotels East of Scotland Open at Lundin on Sunday has lifted him to the top of the Forrester Park Fife Order of Merit for the Mackay Bowl.

The former Scottish champion from Earlsferry Thistle has 425pt after 12 counting events – a lead of 55pt from Alex Main (Thornton).

The next counting events are the Cameron Corbett Vase at Haggs Cstle this week and the Fife stroke-play championship over The Duke’s Course, St Andrews on Sunday.
