EUROPEAN YOUTHS TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

LLOYD SALTMAN HAS A 68 AS

SCOTS OPEN DEFENCE IN SPAIN

Scotland made a reasonable start to their defence of the European youths team championship at San Roque 2 on Spain’s Costa del Sol today.

In the first qualifying round, Walker Cup player Lloyd Saltman had the second-lowest score of the day, a 68.

Jordan Findlay from Fraserburgh was next best with a 73.
