SCOTS FAILED AGAIN IN NETHERLANDS
The Scotland team continued to disappoint on the fourth day of the European junior women's team championship at Pan Golf Club in the Netherlands.
The Scots lost 4-1 to Finland in a Second Flight match which means they are heading for a low final ranking, outside the top10.
Laura Murray (Alford) and Clare-Marie Carlton (Fereneze) lost the foursomes tie at the 20th hole.
Gemma Webster (Hilton Park) lost in the singles by 5 and 3. Michele Thomson from Ellon was Scotland's sole winner, at the 19th. Louise Fleming (The Roxburghe) and Kyle Walker (Buchanan Castle) both lost by one hole.
The championship final will be beateen Spain (5-2 winners over France) and Sweden(who beat leading qualifiers England 4-3).
